The brief
The museum collects buttons, tickets, thimbles and other things people nearly threw away. It needed an identity that made small feel important, on a budget that was also small.
What we made
We set the name in a very large Bodoni and the labels very small, so visitors lean in. Wayfinding is printed on standard luggage tags and can be rewritten by hand.
The result
Visitor numbers rose 45% in the first season and the luggage-tag signs became the best-selling item in the shop.
